The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization founded in 1882 by Blessed Michael McGivney, a parish priest in New Haven, Connecticut, to support Catholic families in need.

Charity - First Degree
Knights of Columbus members put their faith into action by helping those in need—through food drives, volunteering, and supporting mothers who choose life. We show God’s love and compassion by serving others in our communities every day.
Unity – Second Degree
Together, we are stronger than we are alone. As Knights of Columbus, we support and encourage one another, even when we may not always agree. You can count on your brother Knights as we work together to strengthen our parish, community, and those we serve.
Fraternity – Third Degree
Founded by Venerable Michael J. McGivney to support widows and children, the Knights of Columbus continues that mission today through its insurance program and the service of brother Knights, who provide millions of hours of assistance each year.
Patriotism - Fourth Degree
The Fourth Degree honors the virtue of patriotism. This degree is intended to foster the spirit of patriotism in members and in the community at large, and to encourage active Catholic citizenship.
